Exam Invigilators

Being an exam invigilator is a very important position within schools.   Exam Invigilators are in a position of trust and they should possess the quality of integrity and vigilance to maintain the proper conduct of an exam in accordance with the exam board’s regulations.  It is the duty of the exam invigilator to watch pupils to prevent any cheating during the course of the exam.  They are required to ensure that all the exams are carried out according to the rules set out by the exam board which allows each candidate to sit for the examination under equal conditions as other candidates throughout the country.

Bespoke Education Service Team are currently recruiting Exam Invigilators for seasonal work (November, January, May and June {busiest period}) in schools throughout Neath Port Talbot and Swansea.

 

No experience is necessary however the ideal candidate must be prepared to obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) if one is not currently held and registered on the Update Service.

Suitable candidates will be required to:

  • Provide two up-to-date referees
  • Complete free of charge training on:
    • How to invigilate and scribe (for those pupils with additional learning needs);
    • Child protection.

 

Applicants can register throughout the year.
